Kellee Knutson Mulhern, daughter of Bob and Ann Knutson of Northfield, has been fighting a battle against metastasized breast cancer for over four years. Kellee’s sister, Karin (Knutson) Ruchie, also grew up in Northfield and is more than a sister to Kellee, she’s a best friend. Kellee, a 1987 graduate of Northfield High School, was a member of Hi Liners and the girls’ volleyball and basketball teams. Some of you may remember her as the manager of the former Stevensons Store on Division Street or more recently, as a dental assistant for Dr. Jim Perry’s office. Kellee has a certification in both fashion merchandising and as a dental assistance. She lives in Rosemount with her family, husband and best friend Matthew Mulhern, and beautiful teen daughters Kylie and Kassidy Jackson.
A benefit will be held on Thursday, May 8, beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Pointe Bar and Grill, 1669 South Hwy. 13 in Prior Lake. The benefit, hosted by Becki and Patrick Robinson (651-500-0335) will feature a silent auction, dinner, a professional surprise performance, and live music opening with Tim Mahoney for the band Good For Gary. Adult tickets are $20; children, $10, and can be reserved or purchased through the Robinsons.
Each ticket includes events listed above, dinner and includes a donation to Kellee and her family! Please come to this event for a wonderful cause, a great performance, and live music by great professional musicians! Best of all, come visit Kellee Mulhern and her family- “they are the most wonderful people you could ever meet!”
