Northfield resident John Ehresmann is responding to the recent mudslide in Washington State on behalf of the American Red Cross. Ehresmann is deploying as a supervisor in the area of computer operations. He will be responsible for helping to set up and maintain all of the electronic equipment that enables people responding to the disaster to stay in touch with one another and relay important information among the disaster responders. This is Ehresmann’s 7th national disaster deployment with the Red Cross. He is a lead expert for Red Cross technology issues in the state of Minnesota.
